White-tailed Deer Buck

I found this White-tailed Deer Buck on a fall morning in Valley Forge National Park. Since the Park is an area where hunting is not allowed, the deer population grew to a size too large to be ecologically suppported and moved into many nearby suburban neighborhoods. Without natural predators since the extermination wolves, deer have been feeding on flowers and trees in nearby yards. |
